Commercial Pilot License (CPL A) Training

EASA-Approved Professional Pilot Training in Hungary

The Commercial Pilot License (CPL A) is the qualification that allows pilots to operate aircraft for commercial purposes and represents a key milestone in professional pilot training.

At Multifly, CPL training is delivered in accordance with EASA Part-FCL requirements within a structured, airport-based operational environment.

The program is primarily designed for candidates who already hold a valid Instrument Rating (IR), while also accommodating applicants who require the full CPL flight training course.

CPL training can be completed as part of the All-Inclusive 0 → ATPL Modular Training Program or as a standalone module for eligible candidates.

What Is a CPL (A)?

The Commercial Pilot License authorizes pilots to:

  • Fly aircraft for remuneration or hire
  • Act as Pilot-in-Command in commercial operations
  • Meet licensing requirements for professional and airline-oriented training
  • Progress toward ATPL issuance once experience requirements are met

CPL training focuses on precision, standardization, and professional decision-making, building on prior instrument and multi-engine experience.

Training Structure

CPL training at Multifly is conducted in two formats, depending on the candidate’s existing qualifications, in full compliance with EASA regulations.

CPL with Instrument Rating (IR holders)

15 hours of flight training

This is the most common pathway, as the majority of candidates already hold a valid IR

  • Commercial operating procedures
  • Advanced aircraft handling
  • Navigation accuracy and workload management
  • Abnormal and emergency procedures

CPL without Instrument Rating

25 hours of flight training, as required by EASA

  • Applicable to candidates who do not hold a valid IR at the start of training

All CPL flight training is conducted on EASA-approved aircraft from the academy fleet.
